Recipe by Chef Maria

Ingredients

  • White Chocolate Glaze (for drip effect)

  • 1 cup white chocolate chips

  • ¼ cup heavy cream

  • Garnish

  • Whole Oreo cookies (for topping)

  • Extra crushed Oreos (for sprinkling on sides & top)

  • Pound Cake

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened

  • 2 cups granulated sugar

  • 4 large eggs, room temperature

  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • ½ tsp salt

  • 1 cup whole milk (or buttermilk for richness)

  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 15 Oreo cookies, chopped into chunks

  • Cookies & Cream Frosting (for filling & outer layer)

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened

  • 4 cups powdered sugar

  • ¼ cup heavy cream (more if needed for spreading consistency)

  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 10 Oreo cookies, finely crushed

Directions

  • Bake the Pound Cake
  • Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C). Grease and flour a 10-cup bundt pan or 2 round 8-inch cake pans.
  • In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy (about 4 minutes).
  • Beat in eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Add dry ingredients to the butter mixture alternately with milk, beginning and ending with flour. Stir in vanilla.
  • Gently fold in chopped Oreos.
  • Bake 65–75 minutes for a bundt cake (or 35–40 minutes for layer cakes) until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely.
  • Make the Frosting
  • Beat butter until creamy.
  • Add powdered sugar gradually, mixing well.
  • Stir in cream and vanilla until fluffy.
  • Fold in finely crushed Oreos.
  • Make the White Chocolate Glaze
  • Heat cream until hot but not boiling.
  • Pour over white chocolate chips, let sit 2 minutes, then stir smooth. Cool until slightly thickened but still pourable.
  • Assemble the Cake
  • If baking in layers: spread Oreo frosting between cake layers.
  • Frost the outside of the cake with cookies & cream frosting.
  • Pour white chocolate glaze over the top, letting it drip down the sides.
  • Decorate with whole Oreos on top and sprinkle with crushed Oreos.
